Wondering What a Blog Tour Is?

Broken Vessel Blog Tour: March 10-16

With each of my three books, my publisher–Revell, A Division of Baker Publishing–has been gracious in arranging for me a Blog Tour. Love in a Broken Vessel‘s blog tour will happen next week, March 10-16!

What’s A Blog Tour?

Glad you asked! I had no idea what it was either…until I had one. A blog tour can take several forms, but basically several bloggers agree to post something about an author’s new release on the same day or a cluster of days. The post can be anything related to the book: a review by the blogger, an interview with the author, a question and answer time, etc.

Waiting For the Final Blog Count

I haven’t heard the final count yet on how many blogs will participate in Broken Vessel’s tour, but I’ll post it on Facebook when I get the final number. I think Love Amid the Ashes appeared on 53, and Love’s Sacred Song made it to 49. Revell screens bloggers by a stringent list of qualifications before they offer a copy of the book and asked that a review be posted within a certain amount of time.

Ten Bloggers Get to Post Interviews

Of the bloggers that request interviews, we accept the first ten invitations, and each one gets to ask me five questions. It’s so fun to see the different questions each person asks. Some are the same, of course, but there are a few that are really unique. If you’d like to check out the ten interviews–and their various questions–here are the websites to check. (I don’t have specific dates yet for when the interviews will be posted. You can watch my Facebook Page for those announcements!)

Check out these fun blogs–and keep checking! One of these days, we’re sure to meet there!

Today’s Question:

    • If you were a blogger, what interview question would you ask an author?

  1. Yay! I’m so glad I made it onto the interview list and I did so enjoy your answers to my questions. 🙂 I’m really looking forward to posting that! Planning on the 11th at this point, I think? I’ll send you direct links to my review and the interview once they’re both up. 🙂 Again, thanks so much! And also thanks for linking to me here. 🙂
